Austrian Armed Forces - Österreichisches Bundesheer Combined units of the Austrian Armed Forces Air Support Brigade are demonstrating the evacuation of endangered personnel from an airfield in a crisis region. The demonstration starts with an infilitration operation of the selected landing zone by special surveillance and reconnaissance soldiers (not pictured).

1. Paratroopers from the 25th Infantry Bataillon, 7th Infantry Brigade based at Klagenfurt jumping out of Lockheed C-130K Hercules transport aircraft over the airfield to infiltrate the area.

3. Special Forces approaching with Sikorsky S-70A Black Hawk helicopters from 1 Flight Regiment (Fliegerregiment 1).

4. Bell OH-58B Kiowa helicopters firing at enemy forces on the ground which are trying to enter the landing zone. The Kiowa helicopters using their GAU-2/A/M134 "Minigun", a 7.62 mm multi-barrel heavy machine gun.

5. The helicopters leaving the airspace and soldiers on the ground preparing the landing zone for the evacuation. After that a Hercules transport aircraft is cleared to land at the secured airfield.
